Summer Sleepover!

Tuesday was Landon's last day of school, so as a fun first night of summer I let him have Ben over for a sleepover. They had a great time!

They swam in our neighbor's pool, and had a blast with all the girls:)
After dinner at Wendy's they put together their puzzles they got with their meals.

They played in the backyard until the sun went down. They played so well together!!! They were building "ships" and played in the sandbox forever!

Before bed they read Landon's Pirate I Spy book.

In the morning they ate some yummy donuts!!!

Landon is already asking when the next sleepover is!!!!

Sun Filled Weekend!

We had such a fun weekend!!! The weather was so great!!! My pictures are in backwards order... sorry!! This pic below shows how curly Macee's hair is getting in the back. I also just love her in these little outfits where you can see her yummy thighs!!!

We had dinner at my parents tonight and Landon and Aunt Carrie played some "Mouse Trap" before dinner.

Macee and her Mamaw. Macee was showing us how sweet she is tonight. I would say "love your Mamaw" and she would lay her head on her shoulder and say "awwww" in the sweetest little voice. She did it to all of us, so cute!

This afternoon we went over to Ben's to play with his new sprinkler. The boys had a blast. They kept asking to get in the pool, so Uncle Matt said yes. It was freezing!! They are true boys and did not care! Their lips were sooo purple!!

I just love it when Macee makes this face. She scrunches up her nose and it is so funny!!! She does it all the time!

On Saturday Landon went to a pool party for a little girl in his class. Their pool was heated so no purple lips!! This is Landon and his best friend Dani. They get along so well and are just inseparatable!!!

We had such a great weekend, it makes me even more excited about spending the summer with my kiddos!!!

I have taken so many pictures of Macee lately, I thought I would share some of them :)

This is one of her favorite things to do, tear up my magazines!
She loves her new mower, she cant walk with it yet cause the handle isnt very sturdy so she crawls and pushes it!!! So funny!!!

She has also found a new love for climbing. She tries to climb my table by putting her foot on the shelf below.

Her hair is really getting longer... I can not wait until the day I can put it in pig tails!!!!!!!!!

School Fun Day!!!

Landon had Fun Day at school on Friday. This is a great day put on PTO filled with jump houses, slides, water slides, balloon clown, Shriner popcorn, live music, and just all around fun!!!

Landon got an alien/hat from the AMAZING balloon man. It was such a great day. Landon has two more days left in Pre-K and then he will be in KINDERGARTEN!!!!! YAY!!!!

Nothing Sweeter

I love hearing Macee say "Mama", she has the sweetest little voice. Of course EVERY time I get the video camera out and try to get her saying it on video she just looks at me like I'm crazy!!!! Listen carefully cause she is stingy with those "mamas." Enjoy!:)

This weekend was our neighbor Abigail's birthday party. It was a Princess/Prince party. Landon dressed up as a prince. He didn't want to wear the full costume cause it was hot outside.

Macee wore her Halloween costume! She was a flower for Halloween, but it still fit and it looks like a princess kinda also!

She had a great time watching all the bigger kids play.

Today at school was Landon's Pre-K picnic. We had to move it inside cause of the rain. After the picnic they performed a little musical play they have been learning in music class. It was very cute and funny!!!

It was wear purple day for Teacher Appreciation Week, but Landon was not to happy with his purple shirt this morning so he chose to wear his uniform shirt instead... I guess he thinks boys can't wear purple. :)

ONE year in the making!

One year ago today our family became a family of four. It was one of the scariest days of my life. I was so excited to meet my baby Macee. I was so happy to be having a baby girl. But I was so scared that they were taking her to early. I remember as soon as I heard her cry I knew she was okay. It was the hardest five days of my life, watching her lay in her bed in the NICU. I didn't want to leave her side. It was very SCARY in the beginning, but as soon as the "nice" doctor told us that she would be home by the weekend, all was okay in the world again. I am so thankful that Macee only had to stay five days. We were very lucky. I will never forget bringing her home on Mother's Day, it was the best Mother's Day I will ever have!

I just wanted to hold her so bad. Thankfully, a couple days later I was able to.

Some things you are up to these days: Waving!!! I must say it is the cutest wave I have ever seen!!! You keep your hand flat and don't bend your fingers at all. You just move your hand in a tiny circle. It looks like a princess wave!! You say "dada", "baba", and finally "mama"!!!!! You clap, you give kisses, you "love your baby" (hold your baby to your face and kiss it), you love the wagon, you are walking behind your walker, you love other babies and kids, you love to open books, you love opening cabinets, you love having your arms or legs tickled, you will just lay still and let anyone tickle you, you love your big girl car seat, you love when Landon plays silly games wtih you in the car to get you to laugh, you love your baths, in fact you love them so much you dunk your face under water! You have 4 teeth up top and 2 on the bottom. You LOVE being outside. One of your favorite things to do is crawl around the garage and explore. I gave up keeping you clean, instead we just take lots of baths!! You have the most beautiful skin!! You already have a tan and its only May!!! No fair!!! You definetly have Daddy's skin, cause you tan so easy and fast.

Foods you eat: turkey lunch meat, peaches, pears, apples, chicken, lasagna, pizza, toast, Yoplait yogurt, peas, applesauce, goldfish, string cheese, rice, pancakes, biscuits, and much more. You are a great eater!!!!
